April 15th marks the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and as James Cameron’s 1997 motion picture “Titanic” has recently been released in 3D, I couldn’t resist creating clothespin doll versions of Rose & Jack depicting the most famous “I’m flying” scene.

Rose’s Outfit – Skirt and jacket: recycled black lace.  Blouse: recycled white lace (I wrapped the lace around the pipe cleaner as well) Button: pearl (from an old necklace).  Belt/Sash: lavender ribbon.  Shawl: gold ribbon. Hair: recycled from an old doll.

Jack’s Outfit – Jacket: recycled black tee shirt. Shirt: left over piece of aida cloth. Belt: black ribbon. Pants: black marker. Hair: embroidery thread.

Ship stand:  I scanned a drawing from a book and glued it to a piece of cardboard and then glued that on to my doll stand.

Enjoy!
