“VERDANA” Damselfly Healer Faerie Clothespin Doll (Faerie Folk Collection)

Meet “Verdana” a sweet Damselfly Healer Faerie.  Verdana’s wings and body glisten with gold and rust colored faerie dust.

Legend has it, the crystal sparkle on Verdana’s back is a magic drop of water from an ancient well that bestowed special healing powers upon her. When faeries are not feeling well, they seek out Verdana. Those who drink from any pond, lake, river that she has lightly skimmed with her wings are cured.

Body:  wooden clothespin (2.5 inch) covered with faerie dust (glitter glue).

Hair:  Black feather sprinkled with faerie dust (glitter glue).

Wings: Satin dragonfly applique (one of the many treasures found in a bag of scrap material purchased at a garage sale).

Crystal: removed from an old greeting card.

Base: (purchased bag of 6 at the Dollar store) has a moss-covered look and feel.
